We've all met a f*ckboy at one time or another. They’re everywhere. It can be the guy who outwardly expresses how much of a total “frat bro” he is, or it can be the seemingly innocent guy in the corner who morphs into his f*ckboy alter ego once the lights turn off and the music turns on. It could even be the guy on television running for arguably the most coveted and prominent position in our country.
For the 2016 election season, good ole Donald Trump fits the latter criteria. The amount of things he has said that constitute this label are almost endless, but here are a few of the major reasons why Donald Trump is the ultimate f*ckboy.
He Degrades Women
"Look at that face," said Donald Trump in a recent Rolling Stone interview. "Who would vote for that?"
There are so many things Donald Trump has said that are derogatory to women. Like the typical frat boy who thinks everyone is in love with him, Trump has felt it is within his rights to criticize the women who don’t care for him, and sexualize the women who do.
In a 2013 episode of Celebrity Apprentice, he told a former Playboy model that, “It must be a pretty picture, you dropping to your knees.” It would’ve been an even prettier sight if she had drop kicked him and he fell to his knees, but I digress.
He has additionally made some very disgraceful comments about the appearance of Carly Fiorina and Rosie O’Donnell, saying Fiorina’s face would make her unelectable and that O’Donnell is “disgusting inside and out.” He also made a comment that if Ivanka wasn’t his daughter, he would probably date her. And you thought your dad was embarrassing.
He Flaunts His Wealth
"Most of the people on stage, I've given to, a lot of money," said Donald Trump during a debate. According to Politifact, however, Trump has only donated to Scott Walker and Jeb Bush, totaling $1,500. Photo courtesy of Forbes.com.
Have we seen a debate or confrontation between Trump and another Republican candidate where he has not referenced his past campaign contributions to them? What he fails to recognize is that this just shows that he supports his opponents and may even see them as fit to be president. Talk about a backfire. Donald is the businessman adult version of a fraternity brother popping his Polo collar while flaunting his Rolex in his father’s Rolls Royce. I hate to break it to you, Trump, but offering foreign diplomats a ride on your private jet isn’t going to make world peace.
He Excludes People
"You look at the statistics on rape, on crime, on everything coming in illegally into this country — they're mind-boggling!" Trump said in a phone interview with CNN's Don Lemon. "Somebody's doing the raping, Don. I mean, somebody's doing it. Women are being raped. Who's doing the raping?"
You ain’t with Trump’s mothaf*ckin clique. Not only does Trump discriminate against women, but he has notoriously excluded other groups of people from his idea of acceptable Americans. He has labeled immigrants as murderers, rapists and just plain evil people. He’s even taken shots at GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush’s wife, who is Hispanic. He also made a comment on a radio talk show saying, “I have a great relationship with the blacks. I’ve always had a great relationship with the blacks.” If you have to refer to African Americans as "blacks" and justify your good standing with this group, you probably don’t have that good of a relationship with them. Trump wants to be the adult-fraternity guy that stands at the border asking everyone “Who do you know here?”
In conclusion, Donald Trump is essentially just a grown-version of a college fraternity boy with nicer suits and a private jet. While pretty much every presidential candidate has made a few blunders and maybe said a few offensive things, Trump truly takes the cake. Although Urban Dictionary may have dozens of definitions of what a f*ckboy is, Donald Trump should be the first example under each.
