The best part about nice weather on campus is the fact that everyone that owns a dog is out and about walking their dogs and if you don't agree with this you're wrong.

Nobody is able to make me as happy as seeing a dog makes me and even better is being able to pet the dog. Living in a campus dorm and not being able to keep a pet makes seeing dogs around campus even better.

1. *Internal Screaming*

When you first spot the dog behind the crowd that's most likely already surrounding it and begin internally screaming in your head and all you can think about how fluffy and absolutely adorable the dog is.

2. I have to pet this dog RIGHT NOW.

You can't possibly pass up the opportunity to pet a cute dog. Dogs are like little magnets and they just draw people towards them with their cuteness. It would honestly be disrespectful, if you didn't try to pet it.

3. These people need to leave, it's my turn to pet the dog.

When people are already surrounding the dog and it feels like they're petting the dog for YEARS before they finally leave. There's only one dog and 10 people around it and it just doesn't work because the dog can only give so many people its attention.

4. I wish this dog would look at me so I can take a good Snapchat.

Of course you have to take the snap to send to all your friends or add it to your story so you can share the blessing with everyone you know. Then later you see the same dog in several peoples snapchat stories because everyone is super basic.

5. SO FLUFFY

At this point you're finally petting the dog and you may or may not be crying actual tears of happiness. All you want to do is steal the dog from the owner, run away and hope for the best.

6. When the dog doesn't pay attention to you: "WHY WON'T YOU LOVE ME?!?"

Nothing hurts more than when a dog completely just walks past you and doesn't stop to sniff or lick you. You feel invisible and unwanted and it's worse than heartbreak because all you wanted was love and affection.

7. I'm probably going to be late for class but worth it.

You barely left for class on time and the dog just distracted you and made you even later but you already know that it was well worth it and you got a lot more out of petting that dog then you would have being on time to class.

8. Maybe I can sneak a dog into my dorm.

You already have separation anxiety from the dog you saw and pet 2 minutes and you're already coming up with plans on the best way to sneak a dog past everyone to your room.

Seeing a dog instantly makes my day a thousand times better and I'm so incredibly grateful for these wonderful creatures.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
