During the school year, while we’re away at college, I see my peers go into dog withdrawals. Leaving a family pet can be hard. Here’s a list of dog-friendly stores so you can spend the optimal amount of time with your pet this summer.

1. Sephora

“Dang, your eyebrows are on point! Buy it!” -- your dog when you sample a product in Sephora.

2. Barnes and Noble

“My favorite author is Barker Lee.” -- your dog in Barnes and Noble.

3. LUSH

“This bath bomb is the bomb.” -- your dog when you purchase way too many bath bombs.

4. Home Depot

“That paint color will look great in the kitchen.” -- your dog in Home Depot.

5. T.J. MAXX

“Can we buy it? Please?” -- your dog when you find a hot deal at T.J. Maxx.

6. Bass Pro

“Bass Pro? More like Bark Pro.” -- your dog in Bass Pro.
