Why My Dog Is My Best Friend

If you have had a pet before, you know that they are more than just a furry friend; they become part of the family. I've had many pets over the years, and they all hold a special place in my heart!

Molly has been in my life the past two years, and I wouldn't trade her for the world. She's always there for me, whether I am in tears or just happy to see her. Every time when I walk in the door she is always so excited to see me. She follows me all around the house and at night time she has to be touching me in order to go to sleep. She has a personality like no other and I wouldn't change a thing about her.

If any of you have come in contact with her, you know how crazy she can be. She hates when I dress her up, but I can't help but buy little outfits at the store. She won't even sit next to me when I put those on her.

She makes my day, every day. She is someone I can talk to without judgment. She's seen me during my good moments and during my not-so-good ones. No matter what is wrong, she is always by my side. Now I am an RA and she has about 40 new friends who love to take her for walks and play with her. She is never lonely.

All in all, I feel that if you were a kid who grew up without a pet, you definitely missing out on some good times. They become apart of the family and when the day comes that you must outlive your furry friend, it will be terribly hard, but you will know that you gave them the best possible life possible.

Until that day, I'm looking forward to all the memories that Molly and I will make together. Yes, it is not the easiest thing having a dog in college, especially living in the residence halls. However, she makes everything worth it in the end! I love you, Molly.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
