I think that by now most people have at least seen some sort of social media reference to the somewhat famous DJ Khaled's daily Snapchat stories. Last week, I decided to follow DJ Khaled on Snapchat, and my life hasn't been the same since. His "keys to success" are becoming more and more popular on social media. So, I thought it would be helpful to list his most valuable keys to success for all the other millennials out there struggling to find their way, or maybe still trying to figure out what a millennial is.
1: Have Breakfast
DJ Khaled says they don't want you to have breakfast. He usually starts his day out with some form of egg whites, turkey sausage, water, and vitamins. This is the first key to success, because you can't start your day without breakfast. Oh, and enjoy it, because they don't want you to enjoy it.
2: Bless Up
Be thankful for what you have. Khaled says that they don't want you to be thankful. So, be thankful. That's pretty much it.
3: Have A Hammock
Recently, DJ Khaled had to get a new hammock because he meditated in his old one too much. Hammocks are a major key to success, and it is imperative that you have hammock talk at least once a day to reflect. Because they don't want you to reflect.
4: LIOOOOOOON
You NEED to have a life-sized lion statue in your garden. You must also speak to that lion as if it is a real person, and don't forget to water your lion just as you would your garden. The lion is the king of the garden.
5: Eat Your Lunch
DJ Khaled always has an array of choices for lunch, all of which look absolutely delicious. You should enjoy your lunch, because I promise you, they don't want you to have lunch.
6: Jet Ski At All Times
Jet skiing is a major key to success. You have to ride the waves just like how you would ride life. Life is just that, a cycle of waves rolling over each other, and you must attack them head on. That's the most Khaled-esc way I can think to describe jet skiis. Oh, and don't jet ski in the dark.
7: Keep Your Face Clean
I'm not sure if anyone applies moisturizer faster than DJ Khaled, but I invite everyone to try. They probably don't want you to apply moisturizer with such rigor, but that won't stop us. Never stop keeping your face clean.
8: Never Stop
In life there will be obstacles, but we must overcome. Just as a salmon must swim against the current upstream, you must be able to overcome obstacles. Whether it is a police roadblock while jet skiing, or not being able to find your way back in the dark, you must overcome. That is the key to success. They want you to stop, but we won't. We will never stop.
