Hanging a tapestry creatively

Tapestries are such a nice way to add a pop of color to your dorm but it is usually a pain in the butt to hang them. You could even bring this project to the next l even by changing the clips to more decorative ones. Either way this DIY is simple and so efficient!

Being away from home can be a bit much when you are away at school, so what better way to display your sentimental photos than in this awesome frame?! This clip frame is a fairly easy DIY and all materials are inexpensive!

Magnetic Makeup Board

When you only have one desk for homework, beauty, and other things, surface space on your desk is very limited. This DIY not only takes all of your makeup and brushes off your desk, it also allows you to see all your products at once instead of digging around in a bag or a drawer.

Comfy and Cute Headboard

Sleep is a key to success in college, so make sure you rest easy with a fluffy headboard.

Hidden Storage

This is such a creative and useful DIY! What a great way to recycle some of those old books you have laying around, this is also a perfect place to hide anything you just don't want laying out in the open;)

Washi Tape Cork Board

Cork boards are a great way to stay organized at school but to buy the cork board in the frame at the store is costly. By just getting the cork and the washi tape you can create an adorable and functional DIY!

Shoebox Charging Station

This is a super cute way to reduce unsightly cords, keep wires from tangling, and keep all of your chargers in the same place. This is such a cute DIY and most of the materials you can find in the comfort of your own home!

Washi Tape Door

Yet again washi tape saves the day! This is a great way to distinguish your door from all of the other ones in the hallway without any damage! This DIY is a cheap and fun way to give some life to your door.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
