As a PC gamer, there are many games downloaded to my desktop. It’s all fun and games to play, but when getting competitive everything can get so intense. One game that I find to be the most competitive is depth. This game has a very simple concept; you are either play as a shark or a diver. The diver must collect gold and follow the route of S.T.E.V.E., the treasure opening robot. As a shark, your job is to eliminate all the divers, until there are no more divers.
I always play casually, but if you want to win you should learn how to play. When playing as a diver you should be well accustomed to maneuvering around dark caverns and shooting with accuracy. There are cross hairs that you can download from the community to aid in aiming. The use of currency is all an essential role in this game. The way you spend the treasure that you find will be a game changer. There are guns, tools, and consumables. In order to win, there must be communication between the team to see who is doing what. This way multiple people won’t be trying to do the same thing.
Speaking of communication, talking with teammates is the ultimate determining factor in winning the mach. With a good leader, a team can be guided to certain points and get heads up when a shark is about to come. The team with the best communication is the team bound to win.
When you are a shark there is a whole different approach to winning. Since your objective is to eliminate all divers before they get to their boat. You have to think fast and be inconspicuous. The environment is your friend; it is dark and large. Many divers have camping spots, but once you play the game for a while you will know how to get to these places. The best thing to learn as a shark is the map. There is no in game map, so you’ll have to find one online. You can use that joined with the game and scope out areas of interest. Once you predict where the divers will be situated you’ll be able to dominate.
In my opinion, the game is a great addition to my library. I love the graphical quality of the murky atmosphere and the intense sound effects. The competition is fierce and the awards are great. Dip your feet into the abyss of Depth. Good luck and have fin!
