From time to time I listen to Disney Soundtracks. I would not say I listen to them often / all the time, but there are times when I can break out In Summer and start singing it like it's my birthday.

Being a 90's kid and growing up when Pocahontas and Mulan were the coolest things on Disney Channel (aside from the awesome Disney Channel originals), I cannot help but be a child for a little bit when I listen to some of these film soundtracks. Some are old and some are new, but here's my list of the best ones (I think). Nothing is better than listening to I'll Make A Man Out Of You on your way to class at 10AM to pump you up to learn!

1. Frozen Soundtrack (2013)

The best of the best comes from the Frozen soundtrack, of course - I mean, can we talk about how amazing this soundtrack is? In Summer, Love Is An Open Door, Fixer Upper, Do You Want To Build A Snowman and the entire soundtrack in itself.

Kristen Bell was my favorite part about this movie (I have loved her since the Veronica Mars era). But, when she performs this live, can we all be honest, is she not the best? Even doing the adolescence voices of the song, Hollywood give her all the money, please! ALL OF IT!

Whenever Let It Go comes on you know for a fact you are singing "LET IT GO, LET IT GO!" This is number one because I did not see the movie for months because my nieces were obsessed with it. I was like "no, will not see that, it sounds annoying." Then I watched it with my older niece who is 7 now, she was about 5 then, and I fell in love. There is nothing better than a damn good soundtrack to go with a damn good movie.

2. Tangled Soundtrack (2010)

When Will My Life Begin and I See the Light are some of my favorites that come from this movie. Zachary Levi and Mandy Moore on a song singing to beautifully is what I live for. I don't even understand how that happened and how it ended up being great, but here we are.

Tangled is my second favorite because wow! The movie and the characters, especially Flynn Rider. I did not know I could find a cartoon character attractive, but there's a first for everything. The move was so adorably cute and I saw this one on my own. I saw it on Netflix and it ended up being such a cute movie to me. It takes a lot to get me to like cartoon movies or childish movies, but Disney pulls on those heart strings every time.

3. Pocahontas Soundtrack (1995)

Do you know the colors of the wind? Because I learned them from Pocahontas throughout my childhood. Also, she was the coolest person in the youth. I mean, she gets to hang out in nature all day and sing to the animals? I mean, how cooler can you get. And, she even cared about her reservation area and sang a whole song about it! She was absolutely the coolest person ever in Disney history.

The second film was not a favorite, but the first one will definitely go down in the books of coolest soundtrack ever to me.

4. Mulan Soundtrack (1998)

I'LL MAKE A MAN OUT OF YOUUUUUUU too Mulan, don't you worry your pretty little head about that! Just with that stated, that is enough said. I'll Make a Man Out of You = best song in existence. Also, you have to know the whole song. You just have to.

5. Beauty and the Beast Soundtrack (1991)

Belle and her book reading created a good soundtrack. Something There, Belle, Beauty and the Beast - all such good songs that derive from this film. I mean, that whole thing about the abusive relationship between the beast and beauty was kind of weird. BUT, if you don't think about that then these songs are still cute and cuddly like you once thought the movie was.

Those are my choices for my Disney Soundtracks, I am sure that there will be more and more aside from these five. But, we can all agree that these ones are pretty damn rad!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
