The best way to end a night at DisneyWorld’s Magic Kingdom is to watch the final castle shows and fireworks. Wishes and Celebrate the Magic have always brought tears of joy to my eyes as the hours begin to come to an end on a perfect day in Magic Kingdom.
Sadly, Celebrate the Magic has run its course and was shown for the last time on November 3, 2016. This show always gave me chills, sometimes a couple tears. Not only was it beautifully done, but the part I will never forget is when Walt’s most famous quote “I only hope that we don’t lose sight of one thing… That it was all started by a mouse.”
The team behind the end of the night show had big shoes to fill when creating a new finale. I would say they filled those shoes and maybe even an extra pair!
The new “Once Upon a Time” castle projection show is beautifully advanced and stunningly magical. The beloved Mrs. Potts and Chip take you on a journey through some of our favorite stories. In just fifteen minutes, you will fly with Peter Pan, go on an adventure with Winnie the Pooh, thaw a frozen heart with Anna and Elsa, and relive the classic Beauty and the Beast.
The projections perfectly hug the castle to a point where you forget that the whole show is on a 3D object. The fireworks add excitement and chills down your spine. You cannot help but be impressed with how well the show is put together.
Whether you are in Magic Kingdom, or the comfort of your bedroom, you cannot help singing along to “Once Upon a Time.” So before you watch, prepare yourself for a lot of smiling and possibly some tears (for those of you who are as obsessed as I am). "Once Upon a Time" will blow you away.
