Like me, many kids spent their nights watching the latest and greatest original movie on Disney channel. Recently, I watched one of the newer Disney channel movies and was shocked at how much it has changed since I was growing up. It got me thinking about all my favorite movies Disney channel has come out with. I was surprised at how many I had forgotten about. Think back to when you were a kid, remember these?

We all wanted to be her friend and, yes, we did think that we would live in space one day.

Yes, we all checked to see if we had magical powers. Especially if we didn’t see our grandparents often.

We all hoped we would turn around in the mall and be reunited with out long-lost twin. Don’t lie--you did.

Shia Labeouf made us all feel better about our family vacations. What can we say? He's come a long way. “Just do it!”

We all wished the Jonas brothers would show up at our summer camp.

If we’re being honest, we all tried to swim like we had a mermaid/merman tail, and it didn’t work out.
