College is a blending of people. No two people are the same. You get people from all over the world.

Thats one of the best things about college, the various people you will meet. But even though there are different people everywhere, one thing remains constant at every college. There are 13 types of girls that you will meet at every college. It doesn't matter if you're in the south, the north, or even Hawaii.

These same types of girls will be at every college. Some you'll love and some you'll hate.

The Hot Mess

This girl is the epitome of college. She walks around liked she just rolled out of bed, still has last nights make up on, and always has a coffee in her hand.

The sorority girl who is OBSESSED with being in a sorority.

She only wears clothing that has letters on it. She has the backpack and the hat and even the water bottle with her letters on them too. All she talks about is her sorority.

The Girl That Everyone Knows

It doesn't matter that classes just started, everyone still knows this girl. I don't understand how but it just happens.

The Package Deal

These two girls go EVERYWHERE together. They always go around saying they are a package deal. You will never see one without the other, I can guarantee to that.

The Girl Who is Engaged

She never passed up a chance to show off her ring.

The Girl Who Has Been Dating the Same Guy Since High School

They're going on 6 years and really are the definition of high school sweethearts. And she will tell you about him every chance she gets

The Hippie

She's probably walking around with no shoes and crop tops.

The Girl Who Dresses Up For Every Lecture

I honestly don't know how does it. I'm lucky if my hair isn't in a bun.

The Mom

She's the one who makes sure that everyone gets back from the parties alive and that everyone is doing their homework. Honestly she's the reason some of the other girls survive college.

The Athlete

She's here on a full ride for sports. She walks around in sneakers and high socks and could probably beat every boy in any type of race.

The Straight A Student

She's probably pre med and honestly she lives in the library. She is taking the hardest classes and is still thriving.

The Serial Dater

She always has a new guy holding her hand every time you see her. But props to her because she always lands the hot ones.

The Business Major

She's in it to win it and she doesn't let you forget that. She dresses like she is the CEO already and acts like it too. This girl is going to run the world one day

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
