What is the difference between a Feminist, and a Feminazi? You're about to find out.
What is a feminist? Feminism is the belief that everyone should be equal in politics, society and the economy.
A true feminist believes in equality, for both genders. What does equality mean? Equality is the belief of being equal in all things.
Now, what does being a feminazi mean? Well any true feminist knows that those who claim that feminism is women being better than men, or having more rights than men, well those people aren't feminists. We call these people Misandrists. What is a midandrist? Misandry is the belief that women should have more rights than men.
Often these women call men pigs, or call all men rapists etc. etc. the general public likes to call them Feminazis, which is both misleading and wrong. Why is this awful play on the word feminism wrong? Because feminism is good for the world. It should not be slandered or ridiculed.
But why do these women, if it are really misandry, call themselves feminists? The simple answer is because these women don't even know what misandry is. Because they haven't done enough research on what a true feminist fights for, and what a true feminist fights for, is equality. Did you know that men can be feminists? Men are actually who we want to spread the word of feminism, because men are who people the world listens to.
So why do we call ourselves feminists and not equalists? Because no one takes equal-ism seriously. What is the number one thing all of our professors and teachers tell us about beginning a good argument? Have a good hook. When someone says the word feminism, ears perk up. If we can get more ears to perk up and listen, we can spread the word of equality. What can we do with feminism?
We can create equality; socially, economically, and politically. No more pink tax, and no more impossible body expectations. No more gender based stereotypes. We want this so that women are not thought of as weak, and so that men don't have to be strong. Feminism is the fight for equality for both genders, it is not the fight for a matriarchal society.
