We hope that she has really left Akbar for good! Teairra Mari had a visit from Rocc Star on the Love and Hip Hop Hollywood Season 5, Episode 14 and after taking a good look at her actions, she realized that she had not been making great choices in her life. She needed help from someone, a somewhat distant third party person, to help her see the light.

Never mind that one of Akbar Abdul-Ahad wives, Sade, confronted her at Rocc Stars album release party. Never mind that Akbar had video of him and Teairra Mari up on social media. One of his wives wondered why Akbar was still seeing Teairra, and Akbar explained that Teairra was hurting her case by spending time with him. In other words, she was damaging her revenge porn lawsuit case. "How is it revenge porn if we are still together?" he asked with a smirk.

That's right. So that's where Rocc Star comes in. On the show the story was that he was urged by his childhood friend and Teairra Mari's cousin to help Teairra out. So, he had a sit-down chat with Teairra at a restaurant. She explained that Akbar is a polygamist and that the sex tape came out after they had a fight. Akbar had contacted her after their fight and claimed that the with the sex tape was stolen. Teairra admitted that Akbar has an incredible prowess in the bedroom, and she'd been with after she publicly accused him of leaking the tape.

Here are some things that Rocc Star did on the show to have Teairra's back.

1. He put a giant mirror in front of her (figuratively) so Teairra can really "see" her bad decisions. And if she'd already confronted her poor decisions, she heard from him (not the blogs) how her actions were impacting her reputation.
2. He told her that he had her back, but first she had to love herself and cut ties with Akbar.

There is of course some messiness on Rocc Star's part of this situation. He decided to confront Akbar, and they had a Love and Hip style fight with security on hand. He made the decision to help Teairra after talking to Ray J (whom Teairra dated in the past). Rocc Star is showing himself to be loyal, but he is tangled up in his own drama on the show. On the show now, he's chosen to persuade Brooke to work with him, although her fiance is totally against it, and Rocc Star isn't shy about spreading the word about having sex with Lyrica. Lyrica is married to A1 (and having a baby).

I missed the part about why Brooke, who basically told Teairra the same thing as Rocc Star, is a backstabber. That's what Teairra called her at the album release party. Meanwhile, with Sade, Akbar's wife, at the album release party confronting Teairra about messing with her man, the event turned into a "polygamist debate", as Rocc Star called it.
