3. The Wisp Resort
The Wisp Resort in Deep Creek, MD, serves as a ski resort in the winter. However, in the summer, the operate several different outdoor activities. At the Wisp, you can go on Aerial Adventures and climb their canopies, or take a ride on the Mountain Coaster (pictured above). The Mountain Coaster twists and turns for 3,500 feet downhill over 350 vertical feet on the eastern side of Wisp Mountain. Other activities near The Wisp, in Deep Creek, MD include Smiley's Fun Zone and whitewater rafting at Adventure Sports Center International. 4. Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium
Lions, tigers, bears, and thousands of other animals! The park is divided into six different sections: African Savanna, Asian Forest, Kids Kingdom, PPG Aquarium, Tropical Forest, and Water's Edge.
