Everyone has that close inner circle friend group, or just that one person you can go to for just about anything and everything. You care so much about them, and want to express your love in the most perfect way possible — that’s where Amy Poehler comes in. From her many roles of being the upbeat, and optimistic Leslie Knope, a hilarious surrogate mother, to just her being herself, she always knows the right things to say.

They are your backbone and irreplaceable support system

They help you make minor and major life decisions and give you that reassurance advice you need.

Your go-to, trusting wing woman

Who needs Match.com when you have friend that will find someone for you.

... and when that "someone" sucks, they will give you a great reminder

A positive slogan everyone should use.

Reliable since day one

A break up you never have to worry about.

Personal hype (wo)man

They give you the occasional confidence boosters we all need sometimes.

What's mine is yours, & vice versa

They will let you borrow their whole closet (Even a shirt they haven't worn yet if you're lucky.)

Celebrate holidays with them as if they are family

Because not only do you have a Thanksgiving, but a "friendsgiving," as well.

Your Party Pal

They are always up for a good time, no matter the situation.

Let you vent to them nonstop

They hear you out, and the gossip you have about Becky.

They start to know you more than you know yourself.

Crafting the best advice for you, to knowing your favorite Arby's meal.

Check in on you daily

Genuinely care about your well being, and send you that "HEEEEY what's up" text at least every other day.

Your protector

If anyone messes with you, or does anything to upset you, they will be right there to back you up.

When in need of a laugh, I run to them.

A constant stand-up show that you never get tired of.

They give me inspiration for the tough times

A few TED talks from your BFF and you are as good as new.

I could go on and on about how much my friends mean to me. I used Amy Poehler to get my point across because I think she can emphasize it the best, and I would also like to be best friends with her one day (It will happen). I would be completely lost without the ones I consider close to me, and I don't plan on having it any other way.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
