Nobody cares about the days after Christmas.
Our joy and kindness to everyone around us disappears the day after Christmas is over. We tend to forget just why we were so happy as soon as all the wrapping paper is gone. For some reason, the snow is no longer sparkling and beautiful, and the chill is just an annoying and bitter cold.
We often stop our random acts of kindness and forget that for some people, the holidays are the hardest time of the year. Just because the holiday is over doesn't mean we should stop spreading love and cheer to everyone we meet. Maybe, just maybe, if we were as jolly as we were on Christmas, on December 26th, and every day after that, the world would be a much better place.
We can find the good in all the slushy snow and bitter cold. We can look at the "annoying" bell ringers outside of the store and remember why they are there. We can remember that they are trying to help those in need.
So this year, in the days after Christmas, continue to show those you see in your day to day life your warm and loving smile.
