Dear Scorpio,

It's OK to be a wreck sometimes. We all face challenges, and it's alright not to be strong all the time. Putting up that front during the day will not save you from feeling terrible when you're alone at night. When life comes at you full-force, don't be afraid to lean on someone for support.

Let yourself need people. Humans are social beings and aren't built to walk through life on their own. We rely on other people from the moment we're conceived until the moment we die. Your family and friends want to love you - so let them.

Let go of your jealousy. It can destroy you. We, as Scorpios, oftentimes get caught up in a web that is hard to get ourselves out of. Be secure in yourself. You're absolutely incredible, and you have no reason to be insecure.

End your resentment. Yes, someone has done you wrong in the past. It's happened to everyone on this planet. Holding onto anger and hostility will get you nowhere; instead, it'll lead to a downward spiral.

Trust more. I know it's hard. We've all had those people that ruin our trust in humanity. But this goes hand-in-hand with letting go of your resentment; once you let go of that, you will be able to open up more to others. And this would be an amazing thing.

Don't lose your temper. Stop trying to fight everyone. When you're consistently dealing with difficult situations or people, it's easy to feel like you're about to snap. You have a short fuse, and it's nearly impossible to put a smile on your face when you really just want to scream. Shake it off and put a smile on your face - for everyone's sake.

Stop thinking yourself into a depression. Your thoughts are, and always will be, your worst enemy. They cause you to stop looking at things rationally because you simply think too much. Sometimes it is better to keep your mind clear and let life roll the way it naturally would. Don't try and change things out of fear.

Fix your RBF. It makes people run away! You're passionate, charismatic, and magnetic - but you're also intimidating. And that RBF does not work in your favor.

Being over-controlling can end badly. You're a natural-born leader, and you're meant to achieve anything you put your mind too, but a part of getting to the top is ensuring other people like you. Don't treat others poorly because you want to be the best.

Scorpio, at the end of the day, be the best version of yourself that you could possibly be. We are an intense and fierce group of people. Make sure not to let your emotions destroy you.

Yours truly,

A fellow Scorpio

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
