Dear President Elect Trump, I Will Stand By You

I have supported you and will continue to give my undivided love and support to you throughout your presidency.

Dear President Elect Trump, I Will Stand By You

Dear President Elect Trump,

Thank you for putting your perfect life on hold to travel across the country campaigning for people who have ridiculed and attacked you. You have taken the heat from the media and from several Democrats who have chosen to support Hillary. It has been difficult at times to take the backlash that I have gotten from supporting you; however, I have always openly given you my ultimate support no matter what kind of consequences I might suffer from those around me. I have been cursed out, yelled at, and even spit at, but I have never suppressed my support for you. I have always stood by my decision to support you.

I have been called uneducated, racist, sexist, along with many other insults for supporting you, Mr. Trump, but I would not go back and change anything if I could. I will let them say what they want, because we have won. You have openly supported the LGBTQ community, but people are rioting saying you will take away everything they have worked so hard for. You have worked with and given jobs to people of color, people of different religions, women, and legal immigrants, but people refuse to see that. If people would take the time to do their research, they would realize that you have been gravely misunderstood and that your words have been twisted.

I understand that you do not need the money that this position will bring you, and I appreciate the fact that you will donate your presidential salary. Several videos and statements have been released from people who personally know you vouching for that fact that you are a generous, loving, genuinely good person. You have hired people of minority statuses - people who have had nothing but good things to say about you after years of working with you. You have been described as a hard-working, successful, and understanding person; however, the media and several people who have been opposing you have taken your words out of context to make you seem like an unruly beast.

I, along with many other people, have stood by you from the very beginning. We have argued with liberals who were unwavering in their views, trying to allow them to understand where we were coming from. It is important now that we all come together and support you in all of your efforts. I am on the Trump Train, along with many other people who are hoping and praying for your success as president. Always know that you have a strong backbone of supporters who have the ultimate faith in you and everything that you will do for this country.

Congratulations, and good luck as the future president of the greatest country on the planet! This is a movement! Let's Make America Great Again!

- Your fellow supporters

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
