You will never have to worry about if I love you because my love for you is infinite.

To my future daughter,

I can't wait for the day when I hear little feet coming down the hall towards my door every morning, hearing the sounds of your laughter while making cupcakes, making spoon airplanes every night just so you can eat your vegetables, pushing you on the swings sets at the park even though it's hot outside and I am nervous you are going to fall, taking you on ice cream dates, having mommy and daughter days at the nail shop , putting on your first leotard and taking you to gymnastics class hoping that you love it as much as I did. All while living for the day you say your first words and take your first steps. Watching you graduate from pre-school, showing you how to put on makeup , supporting you through the goals you make for yourself, and loving you unconditionally even if you make a mistake. I will teach you that in life the best thing you can have is hope , through the good and the bad.

What I'm not ready for is when you experience your first heartbreak, your first failure, your first period, having the sex talk, or when you realize how small you may be in this big world. I will not be ready to explain to you why bad things continue to happen to good people, or why life has so many ups and downs. Why our world is so shamelessly broken, and why the only thing that keeps me a going is you and the hope to have a greater impact on you and to guide you through life on the right path.

You will be my greatest achievement, and the reason I will smile every day. You will be the reason I will work every day and happily pay the bills to keep clothes on your back, food in your Tummy, and a roof over that pretty little head of yours. I will aspire to be someone you look up too and can say you are proud of. I will make sure to teach you to love, respect , and take care of yourself and others. I will nurture your young mind and try not to shelter you from the world. I will try my hardest to never let you see me sad or have to struggle. I will make mistakes and some days you will be mad at me , but I am going to be your parent and raise you the right way. I will push you to do your homework , get good grades, follow your dreams, and achieve something greater than we both could ever imagine.

So to my future daughter, as long as I am around I will make sure you never have to worry about how much I love you or how proud I am of you, because my love for you will be infinite. I will love you without judgement or conditions.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
