My Precious Little,
Recruitment is right around the corner and I could not be more excited to add to our precious family. I remember last year's recruitment like it was yesterday. I was so anxious for Day 1 because I knew I could potentially meet my little and I really needed to impress her. I even curled my hair, and we both know that's a big deal. You pranced right in with that gorgeous smile of yours and we wasted no time getting to know each other. I have never felt so close to someone I just met in my life. We laughed, we cried, and I fell in love.
Not a day goes by that I don't thank God for you. You have been my rock, my best friend, my Chick-fil-a buddy, and the most perfect little in the whole entire world. You will be my bridesmaid, the crazy aunt, the person I call to help me escape from the nursing home, and forever my partner in crime. I know you're going to have the perfect little to adore and share amazing memories with. I can't wait to meet her.I hope that you have the same amazing recruitment experience as I did, so here are a few tips for you:
1. Don't stress too much on perfection.
You are already perfect the way you are. Don't stress about a stray hair or your eyeliner not being on point. You are going to be an A+ recruiter no matter what.
2. Bring deodorant.
Yes, I know this is not something sentimental, but you will thank me later. Nerves and 150 girls close together for the door song can create a lot of stank. Loooove you.
3. She's just as (if not more) nervous as you are.
Make her feel comfortable. You're really good at that, so I'm not worried. Be transparent and she will most likely be the same with you!
4. Eat a good breakfast.
Those pastries are gonna look really good every round, but you sadly won't be able to stuff your face. Eat some breakfast so that you won't drool over them. That would be awkward.
5. Bring gum & mints.
You just need them. You'll be in a loud room and have to get really close to have a conversation!
6. You can talk about cats.
I just wanted to add this because I think you're so dang cute when you talk about your cats.
7. Be yourself.
Be the goofy, fun, and inspiring woman that you are. People will be drawn to you just as I was the day I met you. Remember, you might just meet your little. ;)
8. Enjoy time with your sisters.
Recruitment is such an awesome time to bond with your sisters. After all, it's a time where you're going to show off this amazing sisterhood to a group of girls longing for 100 new sisters! Make memories and have fun!
Go get em, Little! I love you!
