Dear Graduating College Seniors,
CONGRATULATIONS! You have come so far and now you are finally graduating! You have transformed from an excited freshman to a confident senior. The last few years have been filled with lots of laughter with friends and memories that you will cherish for a long time. Shout out to that friend who brought you coffee in the dark hours of night to help you study. You have finally reached the light at the end of the tunnel. Welcome to the big world, it is yours to explore!
I personally want to thank you from your fellow classmates. We may be passing faces, but you have made an impact in our lives. Thank you for being a part of my college experience and making it so wonderful. I am so grateful to have such an awesome person go to my school. Thank you for being there in times of need and comfort. Thank you for all the deep conversations we had about the future. Thank you for all the calories we lost together from laughing so hard. You are a true friend. I know I’m not the only person who you have personally impacted - don’t forget that.
College is not that end, there is a whole world out there waiting for you to find. Grab your hiking boots and be ready for the adventure! When you are down, and are wondering if you make a difference think, about all the people in your college career that have been there for you. About twice has many people have been impacted by you and your presence. God is going to do great things in your life. Make sure to trust in Him whenever the ride is a little iffy. Adult life will be hard, and you know that, but when you lean on the Father, he will calm you.
“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end. I perceived that there is nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live; also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this is God's gift to man. I perceived that whatever God does endure forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before him.” Ecclesiastes 3:11-14 (ESV)
Congratulations class of 2016! You did it!
