"I prayed for you." What a sentence to hear. What an even better sentence to get to say. What a feeling to get to experience God's faithfulness firsthand through the children that I will get to be the mother of. This is why I pray for each one of you:

I pray for each of your hearts.

I pray that you will all experience our Heavenly Father's love in a way that I could never imitate.

I pray each of you will know Him and seek Him out fervently through every decision, every heartbreak, every mistake, and every celebration.

I pray that you will all experience a deep, personal, fruitful relationship with God.

I pray each of you will place Him as the head of your hearts.

I pray that each of you will express your devotion to Him through your joy despite situations and through your genuine love for Him and others.

I pray that you all will love in a way that does not seek recognition or status or anything in return, but instead, I pray you love in a way that is full-hearted and real and takes action.

I pray that each of you is a servant and that you find how you are fit to serve His kingdom and carry it out joyfully.

I pray that you all will know that your earthly father loves you as much as he possibly can. I know this because I have been praying for it.

I pray that you all will know that I will love you as much as I possibly can.

I pray most of all that as much as we will love you, you will know that our love could never even come close to how much our Heavenly Father loves you.

I pray that our family will love others, seek His will, and live in the Father's love together every day.

I pray for each of your bad days.

I pray that they are few and far between, but I hope that when they do come, you will guard His peace in your soul and never let these rough days steal your joy in Him.

I pray that you will remind each other of His goodness and His faithfulness.

I pray that each of you rejoices in obedience to the Father. I pray that you would also rejoice in obedience to your parents, but I also hope that you can find a friend in me.

I pray that each of you sees me as someone who is there to encourage you, love you, pray for you, hold you accountable, and struggle with you.

I pray for your enthusiasm for the Lord. I pray that each of you is so unashamed about your joy in the Lord and that you share it with an authentic love for others.

I love each of you more than I can say, and I haven't even met you. I am so excited to see the plan that the Lord has for each one of you.

I have prayed for each of you, I am praying for each of you, and I will continue to pray for each of you.

The Lord is so faithful, and I can't wait to experience another example of this truth.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
