When the presidential race first began I was less than involved. I brushed off each candidate as I had in the past when I was younger and didn't expect to be up to date with the current politics. I soon was subjugated to multiple hour-long speeches at my spring internship at a broadcast company, so being around the politics, I began to get more involved. Trump's political campaign was never anything more than a joke to me and even now I have a hard time taking it seriously. I just wish that I had the chance to sit down and ask Trump some of my questions and see if he would actually answer them.

I would like to ask Trump how he views my potential for success based on my bra size, as if the limit of the cup was the cap on my future. If me being a ten was meant to be a metaphor for the amount of figures my starting salary would be by the time I am done with my higher education.

I would like to ask Trump if the marketing schemes for his campaign were purely strategic, because honestly I am afraid. Afraid that American society is lacking general knowledge about events and opinions taking place right in front of their eyes.

I once met someone who was raised in a small town in Alabama. They had told me that if you weren't baptist or white you didn't fit in. Explain to me how a country with such diverse locations can also have a pretty large quantity of people who still think the separation of race is still the right thing or that insulting words are appropriate for daily conversation.

Trump's wall along the borders has been the punch lines of jokes on various late night TV shows including Tosh.0, but how is it that we are still joking about something that should be taken seriously?

How do you plan on explaining environmental damages to the future generations with your position on fracking? One of Trumps tweets from 2012 states, "Fracking will lead to American energy independence. With price of natural gas continuing to drop, we can be at a tremendous advantage", but fracking is also believed to be one of the leading causes in global warming. Yet Trump still chose a vice president who is apart of the problem and even gets paid off by large companies that sway his ethics.

I'm also curious to see if you still stand by your statement in a 1991 interview with Esquire, “You know, it doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass [next to you].”

When I started writing this piece I wanted it to be positive. I wanted to include more facts and statistics that would help sway people to see things the way I do. It was only after I had eight tabs opened all saying the same negative things about Trump did I realize that I wasn't going to accomplish that goal.

There will always be something wrong with our presidential nominees. The choice is what issues we chose to focus on. I am sorry, Mr. Trump, that I could not seem to overlook your faults and focus on the good, but I was raised not to be greedy, not to be selfish, and not to put myself before others. I was raised to think of everyone before myself while still including myself. I do not think that a country can be run on hate or just on the focus of income. I do believe that we need a competitive workforce. I do believe that we still need to pay for private higher education, but there does need to be some restrictions. I do believe that lifting the environmental regulations that the EPA have placed on certain companies and procedures will only lead to more irreversible events that will damage our natural resources and right now is a time to focus on renewable energy and more sustainable manufacturing. I understand why you want to control the borders, but you need to do it while acknowledging all perspectives not just 'getting our jobs back' because I promise you that the people who are at your rallies screaming their lungs out for more job opportunities won't be in line with their resume in hand just to be flipping burgers or taking out trash or any of the entry level jobs that undocumented citizens have when they come into America. They want six figure jobs that will give them a big house and a nice car with limited effort. They also won't want to go to school to get the degree to compete in the job force in order to make that salary.

I personally don't think that we have the healthcare situation figured out, but we'll get there. We need to remember that health should be a right just like the right to use any restroom you choose based on your gender, not your sex.

I'm not a fan of Hillary, but I am less of a fan of Trump and I am sorry that I don't plan on marking your name on any voting ballot ever unless it was for who I wanted to get kicked out of all positions of power first. I just wish you were a better option so that when I vote this coming November I could actually have faith in my country rather than fear it.
