Dear Daughter,
Whether you are an exhausted mother of six, a woman whose marriage is falling apart, a working single mother trying to make ends meet, or a student trying to find her calling — I know it may seem hard to believe some days, but you are indeed God's daughter, no matter how you feel or how you look. You are His, therefore you are immensely blessed! Even on the worst days, you are called worthy. When God see's you, He sees that you measure up, even when you don't. There are going to be days that you need to be reminded.
1. You Are Loved With An Everlasting Love:
It doesn't matter how many mistakes you have made, there are lies that may enter your head saying, "You've done too much, no one will want me, I've chased away everyone, will anyone love me?" My God says never! I have loved you with an everlasting love. I have a love for you that exceeds all others. Nothing can separate you from His love, therefore nothing can separate you from His plans for your life. "But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ — by grace, you have been saved." Ephesians 2:4-5
2. You Are Righteous:
Despite your faults and shortcomings, you have been found righteous through the blood of Jesus Christ. It was not anything you did, but God sees you as holy and blameless now that you are his child. So you should live in freedom, knowing that you are right with God. "He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy." Titus 3:5
3. You Are Desired
There will be days, when you feel unloved and unwanted. you will feel as though you are not enough. But the fact is that God desires and wants you. He desires to have a relationship with. He wants to spend time with you. He wants to hear about your good days and bad days. He wants to hold you, when you're hurt. He wants to pick you up when you fall. He rejoices with you when you have a victory, and mends you when your broken. He is a good father, and he wants you. "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
4. You Are Fearfully And Wonderfully Made:
Never once does it say in the bible that God looked down and said, "Oops, I didn't mean to create her like that. I didn't mean to make him like that, let me redo." No, He did not. He calls you beloved. He calls you cherished, and loved. He looks down from heaven, He says, " that's my child, and I love them so. They are the reason I sent my son." I say it all the time, and I will say it 'til I die: My. God. Does. Not. Make. Mistakes. If you feel like you don't measure up, or if you are wishing you could be someone else, then you are neglecting the beauty that is you! You are also neglecting the creator's work. He made each and everyone of you for a purpose. He has a plan for you, and he is going to fulfill it. Love who you are today. Be who you are. Once you embrace who you are, that's when God starts to work. You are beautifully and wonderfully made. "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14
5. You Are His
Jesus looked at the sick woman and said, “Daughter,” He calls her. And with that one word, He claims her as His own. It is as if Jesus is saying, “You have me to father you now. You have me to take care of you, love you, cherish you. Everything good in a father that you missed, you will have in Me. I will be your father.” - Tess Afshar, Proverbs 31 Ministries
6. You Have A Purpose And A Calling
Whether you are called to be a nurse, teacher, pharmacy tech, or a stay-at-home mom, God has a plan for your life. A plan not to harm you. You may not see the big picture yet, but it is in all his timing. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
Remember who you are today, daughters!
