Dealing With My First Encounter With Stress.

Being Stressed Out Is No Fun.

Dealing With My First Encounter With Stress.
fedhealth.co.za

After twenty years and some change, I never really experienced stress. There have been several times where I have been extremely worried, nervous, and anxious about things but I never though it was to the extent of where I was really stressed out. For example in high school and sometimes in college, I have procrastinated many times but it really never stressed me out. It was always kind of a myth because I just thought people exaggerated their problems most of the time.

On June 9th, 2016 this all changed. This was possibly one of my worst days ever. Everything just went wrong from when I got out of bed until I closed my eyes. I was so stressed out that I had an headache. And basically wanted to become a child again. When I didn't have to worry about responsibilities and all that crap. It was just a overwhelming day. And I just ate unhealthy all day. Cheated on my diet and every thing. Therefore, with this article I just wanted to address that yes, stress is a real thing. And that I was foolish for thinking otherwise. Now that I have experienced it first hand I have a new perception.

Stress is unhealthy but it is unavoidable in many cases. Too much stress makes our lives difficult but in certain cases, it can be a factor to propels us to achieve success. But it really depends on the person's ability on how to handle stress. Some people are so lousy at handling stress, some people remain calm in times of difficulty and therefore are able to straighten their thoughts out easily.

When dealing with stress, there's several ways you can limit the impact. You should take a time-out from doing what's stressing you out, and just take some time to get organized. Plan out your next steps and follow those steps closely. This is important because being unorganized when one is stressed is a horrible situation. Another thing one should do is get enough sleep to function. Usually when one is stressed, they stay up late stressing and over thinking (like I did last night). I can definitely say that didn't help the situation at all.

When stress starts interfering with your ability to live a regular life for an extended period, it becomes even more harmful. The longer the stress lasts, the worse it is for your mind and also your body. Too much stress can also lead to depression, which is serious and can lead up to things like drug use, and other thing.

Therefore to live a stress-free life you should always think positive. Bring a positive attitude everywhere and try to remain organized when things get difficult.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
