Dating your best friend can be one of the greatest feelings in the world, and just like any relationship, it can be hard at times too. But you know it’s all worth it to have the love of your life and your best friend by your side.

Every time he calls you beautiful:

He always knows exactly what to get when you’re hungry:

When neither of you can decide on what to get for dinner:

When you can act like goofballs around each other:

You always miss him the second he leaves even though you spent the whole day together:

You can be completely comfortable around each other:

And maybe even a little too comfortable:

He always knows how to make you feel better when you’ve had a bad day:

He’s your biggest supporter with everything:

Every time you have a fight:

When you tell your friends about the fight:

When you make up after the fight:

You know you can never stay mad at him too long:

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.

A bad day at the lake is still better than a good day not at the lake.

You know the best beaches and coves to go to.

You have no patience for the guy who can't back his trailer into the water right.

Doing the friendly wave to every boat you pass.

The cooler is always packed, mostly with beer.

Giving the idiot who goes 30 in a "No Wake Zone" a piece of your mind.

You have no problem with peeing in the water.

You know the frustration of getting your anchor stuck.

Watching in awe at the bigger, better boats that pass by.

Knowing any swimsuit that you own with white in it is best left for the pool or the ocean.

The momentary fear for your life as you get launched from the tube.

You're able to go to the restaurants by the water wearing minimal clothing.

1. My school is incredibly unique.

2. I am not just a number at my school.
