What is it about dares that make us so much more brave than we actually are? “I double dog dare you.. With a cherry on top!” The irresistible phrase that we would spew out to our friends on the playground when we wanted them to do something crazy. And as soon as those words were said, you couldn’t back down. You didn’t want to look weak, you didn’t want to be a chicken who was afraid of doing things. But why do we stop? Why does that end when we grow older, when we should be taking dares, chances, and risking it all?
So I dare you.
I dare you to do something you’ve always dreamed about but have never actually done.
I dare you to apply for a job or intership just for the heck of it, and see where it leads you.
I dare you to pour your heart out to someone you love.
I dare you to give your all to Jesus and see where His path leads you.
I dare you to take that adventure or roadtrip that you’ve dreamed about.
I dare you to spend a day by yourself, and learn to enjoy your own company.
I dare you to ask yourself the bigger questions, what’s your goal, what motivates you.
I dare you to set a goal for yourself and actually stick to it.
I dare you to move to that place you've always dreamed of living in.
I dare you to walk away from something/someone that is holding you back
I dare you to leave that job that has been making your miserable.
I dare you to drop that major that your parents forced on you and do something you love.
I dare you to follow your passion and not the money.
I dare you to chase after that person you can’t stop thinking about.
I dare you to step out of your shell and try new things.
I dare you to fall in love with yourself and never apologize for it.
I dare you to do something completely selfish, and do what’s best for you for once.
I dare you do be independent no matter how much your parents resist.
I dare you to find your love of God on your own, not because your church tells you to.
I dare you to take chances even if the odds aren’t in your favor. At least you tried.
I dare you to stop apologizing for everything that is not your fault.
I dare you to have big dreams for you future, no matter how crazy people think it is.
I dare you to stand up for someone else, even if you don’t always agree with them.
I dare you to love everyone fiercly as if a stranger was your closest sibling.
I dare you to forgive forgive forgive and forgive, to show someone unconditional love.
I dare you to look for the best in people always.
I dare you. To live your best life. Because it is TOO short to do it any other way.
I double dog dare you.
