Nathan and Haley Scott are the longest running couple on the early 2000s show, One Tree Hill. I say 'are' instead of 'was' because to me, they're still probably running strong. One Tree Hill was an American Teen Drama from 2003 - 2012 that starred teenagers and their families. It was pretty dramatic but also very cute and somewhat educational. In certain episodes, the characters tackled real, relatable problems such as popularity, fitting in, peer pressure and sexuality, amongst other things. It was also filled with many romances, this one being my favourite.

Nathan Scott and Haley James started out as strangers, then started to study together, be friends, date each other and then got married. All in the span of a season and their junior year of high school. Though they had their ups and downs just like everybody else in relationships, real or virtual, they pursued each other and finished the television series causing everyone to say 'relationship goals'.

Here are five times Nathan and Haley proved that true love is everlasting:

1. They listened to their hearts instead of listening to the people around them.

Their parents and friends thought they were rushing into adulthood and life by getting married before finishing high school, but they did what they felt was right. They didn't care what others would say about them because they knew they were meant to be together, and if you know that, what more do you need?

2. They are each others' whole world.

Even though their relationship started off fast, they have proven time and time again that they are each others' whole worlds. Like the time Nathan proposed to Haley again just so they could start fresh and turn a new leaf.

3. They are still 100% there for their friends.

The married life has not torn them from their closest friends. Like when Dan had a stroke then found out he had a heart condition. Nathan and Luke went on a road trip to see a basketball game and Nathan surprised him by saying the real reason of the trip was so they could get tested for free at an athletic centre, but then Luke backed out last minute saying he didn't want to live his life in fear and then Nathan told Luke's mother, Karen because he wanted Luke to live a long life.

4. They still managed to follow their dreams.

Getting married at an early age did not stop them from discovering themselves individually (as well as together) and following their passions. Just look where they ended up, with a happy family and Nathan as an NBA player and Haley as a teacher and recording artist.

5. They brought out the best in each other, which is the ultimate requirement for any relationship to fully work.

Their relationship started with Haley tutoring Nathan as long as he stopped picking on Luke. This blossomed into Nathan's habits changing and him becoming nicer and even more brotherly with Luke. Simultaneously, Haley become more daring and outgoing. She became more confident with herself, her relationship and her music.

At the end of the day, relationships are what you make of them and the effort you want to put into them. Nathan and Haley's relationship wasn't perfect and in some episodes seemed as if they were about to end, but they loved with such a passion that they could no longer see their lives without each other.

Isn't that the definition of an epic romance?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
