There is something addictive about reading conspiracy theories. It’s like watching a movie with a mystery, except the mystery is in our everyday life. Since Halloween is approaching, we thought it would be fun to compile some of the creepiest conspiracy theories out there.
The Illuminati Wanted To Put An End To Kesha’s Career
There is a theory that the Illuminati have purposely shut down Kesha’s career.
A few years ago, Kesha released a song called “Die Young,” and many people were upset because it released during the time of the Sandy Hook tragedy, where many young children lost their lives. In her video, there was were Illuminati symbols such as triangles, the all-seeing eye, and also symbols of Satanism.
Due to people’s responses, Kesha tweeted, “ I did NOT want to sing those lyrics and I was FORCED to.” The tweet was taken down immediately. Kesha then did an interview where she was asked if she’s working for the Illuminati. She said, “It’s so much worse than they think. I’m really the leader of the Illuminati. That’s true.”
That is when things took a turn. Her appearances on TV and radio shows declined. Conspiracy theorists believe that the Illuminati did not like how Kesha responded and as a result, had to end her career.
Lindsay Lohan Actually Had A Twin
There is a crazy theory going around the internet that Lindsay Lohan had a twin sister named Kelsey, and they filmed The Parent Trap together. Before the movie came out, “Kelsey” supposedly died in a car accident. The filmmakers then made the decision to say that Lindsay actually played both parts of the sisters in The Parent Trap, rather than admit that "Kelsey" existed,
However, the filmmakers weren’t the only ones in on it. Lindsay’s parents supposedly agreed to go with the fake story to gain money. That is when Lindsay started to resent her parents and ultimately, lead her to use drugs and alcohol because she had to live with the secret of her sister’s death.
The Moon Landing Never Happened
One of the most popular conspiracy theories out there is that the moon landing never happened and that it was actually filmed in a studio. The reason people believe this is because in the footage, there are no sign of any stars. Another reason is that when the flag was planted on the moon, the flag was waving back and forth, which theorists believe to be a cause of the studio’s air conditioning. People also believe that the United States didn’t actually have the technology to get man on the moon.
The Mandela Effect
The Mandela Effect has to do with a large number of people having a memory of something that never actually happened, or didn’t happen exactly how they thought. For example, the term “Mandela Effect” comes from the belief that many people thought Nelson Mandela died in prison sometime in the 80’s, when he actually died in 2013. Another example is that people remember The Berenstain Bears having an “e” so it would be The Berenstein Bears. How do you remember spelling it?
Another example is the famous Star Wars line, “Luke, I am your father.” That line doesn’t exist in the film. It’s actually, “No, I am your father.” Another one is “Mirror mirror on the wall.” The real line is “Magic mirror on the wall.”
There are countless conspiracy theories out there, some more believable than others. They make us question what we know and leave us wanting more. Now the question is, do you believe?
