For anyone that knows me, I'm a pretty big country music fan. It's pretty much all I listen to, and I'm always in the know about up and coming country artists and new releases. However, I haven't always been a country fan. I didn't even start listening to country of any kind until the spring of 2012, and I didn't really get into it until about a year later. Over the years, country songs have come and gone on my iPod, but there have been a few that have just stuck with me from the moment I discovered them. Recently, I made a playlist of my top favorite modern country songs that just have a "feel good" vibe to them- or at least for me they do. Anytime I'm feeling down, or just need some good study music, I turn to this playlist. If you like country music and need a good pick-me-up, here are my top 15 favorite feel-good country songs:

1.) Wasted Time- Keith Urban

2.) Saltwater Gospel- Eli Young Band

3.) Smalltown Throwdown- Brantley Gilbert feat. Justin Moore and Thomas Rhett

4.) John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16- Keith Urban

5.) Outta My Head- Craig Campbell

6.) American Country Love Song- Jake Owen

7.) Hurricane- Luke Combs

8.) Dust- Eli Young Band

9.) You Look Good- Lady Antebellum

10.) The Fighter- Keith Urban feat. Carrie Underwood

11.) Vacation- Thomas Rhett

12.) A Little More Summertime- Jason Aldean

13.) That's My Kind Of Night- Luke Bryan

14.) Compass- Lady Antebellum

15.) Somethin' Bad- Carrie Underwood feat. Miranda Lambert

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
