As we near the end of the semester and the school year comes to a close, summer's never looked better. Congrats, everyone! We've made it to the homestretch. However, the last few days before summer seem to drag on and on... From those last few presentations, essays and final exams, school is pretty much torture by the last month. So here's the never-ending countdown to summer, as told by GIFs.

T-Minus 25 Days:

By this point, spring break is long gone and the next break you're going to get is summer. After two semesters worth of work, you're burnt out and all you want to worry about is whether or not you have aloe for your sunburn.

20 Days:

Despite your lack of motivation, the presentations, papers and tests start to suffocate you and every time you think you're done, another project rears its ugly head.

15 Days:

With finals just around the corner, you're slowly beginning to realize you need to start preparing for what is your impending doom.

10 Days:

You probably haven't even attempted to start studying yet because the thought of doing so makes you nauseous.

7 Days:

With one week left, it's time to start cramming, but you don't even know where to begin studying because you don't know what you don't know.

6 Days:

Sleep deprivation is at an all-time high.

5 Days:

You're losing steam and with five days left, you can't quite justify quitting, but all the work you're doing seems pointless and counterproductive.

4 Days:

As your exhaustion begins to catch up with you and your eyes burn from all the studying you've been doing, you contemplate your sanity and how your brain hasn't turned into goo yet.

3 Days:

It's pretty much safe to say if you don't know it now, you're never going to know it. You've been non-stop cramming and you've reached your study capacity, so now it's time to tap out and accept whatever grade you get.

2 Days:

As you start to pack up your things and get ready to move out, you've never been more ready to get home and kiss your responsibilities goodbye for a few months.

1 Day:

With 24 hours left, you're so close to making it and the only thing standing in your way is one final. The finish line is in sight, but this last mile has never felt more torturous.

0 Days:

We made it! With no choice but to accept your final grades, you're all packed up and ready to head home. Despite some stressful days leading up to it, summer is finally here, and it's time to trade in your backpack for a beach bag. Remember to enjoy it!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
