Disney princesses are cunning, intelligent, beautiful, ambitious, and confident – meaning they would fit in perfectly with Cornell students. For all you know, there could be a Disney princess in your same college at this very second, but how are you supposed to know who to look out for? Well, don’t fret, the answer has finally arrived.
Tiana
Tiana is such a hotelie. It’s obvious to anyone who has ever had a conversation with this girl. She’ll jump at the first chance she gets to tell you about her dream of owning her own restaurant. But don’t think that she just has her head in the clouds. This girl has strong organizational abilities, and is willing to work hard to fulfill her dreams. She’s friends with all kinds of people, and knows how to work with a variety of personality types. Resilient with strong interpersonal skills, Tiana shines in the Hotel school.
Elsa
The curve never bothered her anyway. Determined to go the extra mile in college, Elsa decided to apply to engineering. She knew it would be a lot of work, sure, but she didn’t expect to be locked up by herself doing problem sets this often. Her heart breaks a little when her friends knock on her door and beg her to hang out with them while she’s working hard, but she knows that she has to be smart about how she spends her time. When play time does come, however, she is more than willing to rid herself of her stressful workload and let it go whenever she can.
Rapunzel
When Cornell’s admissions office read Rapunzel’s application,
they had no choice but to admit her into the Architecture, Art & Planning
school. She’s the perfect fit! Rapunzel relies on her resourcefulness and
creativity to get her to where she wants to be, much like the rest of the
Cornell archies. She loves expressing herself through art, and, having been
trapped in an isolated tower for the majority of her life, she is comfortable
with being hidden from the rest of the student population working late nights until
graduation.
Belle
This beauty is an Arts & Sciences kid all the way. She
has always been well-rounded, thanks to the countless books she’s buried
herself in. A lover of knowledge, she loves being exposed to different ideas
and people. Therefore, the many, many requirements of A&S don’t even bother
her. In fact, she kind of likes being forced to learn a new language, among
other courses that are separate from her major. Actually, even if it wasn’t for
all of the requirements, she probably would have taken those classes anyway.
Pocahontas
Whether it be food science, animal science, communication,
or biology, CALS students are focused on the way specific parts of the world
are organized. Heavily in touch with nature, Pocahontas would definitely be a
plant science major in CALS, but that isn’t the only reason that she was
accepted into the school. Pocahontas is a curious, independent student who is
confident in herself and her life path.
Merida
Like any other ILR student, Merida sees nothing wrong with
questioning the status quo. Or breaking it. Her individualistic nature makes
her a natural born leader. While she was viewed as simply rebellious in high
school, Merida really just wants to have freedom. Born royalty, she knows all
about the strengths and weaknesses of her government. She is also well-versed
on economics and managing people at work. She is aware of society’s norms and
is highly opinionated on them. In fact, it seems that she has something to say
about everything.
Snow White
Snow White is perfect for the college of Human Ecology.
Although the steep hill to her school’s official building from north campus
could be easily categorized as the #1 worst thing in the world, Snow White is
willing to make the sacrifice for her education. After all, she’s made
sacrifices her entire life. After living with seven dwarves, caring and
protective Snow White desires to learn more about people – whether that be
through human development, global and public health services, or even
nutrition. At the core, Snow White just wants to help people however she can. She
will, however, be avoiding Applefest next year.
