A Woman's Guide To A Successful Football Sunday

Ladies--take a seat (in front of the t.v.) because football season is back and in action! This means listening to your boyfriend/friends scream in front of the t.v. and intently watching their team play. If men are occupied with the games, then what does this mean for us women? From personal experience, men can get easily agitated with women on this day, so in order to avoid that I have come up with a list of unwritten rules for football Sunday.

1. Zip it

In general, men tend to get irritated by women talking, but today especially don't even try to talk while the Giants are about to call a play. It doesn't matter how urgent the topic may be, it can wait.

2. Move chick, get out the way

Once you claim a spot on the couch you're committed to it. Any movement that causes obstruction of view of television is not acceptable.

3. Fantasy football...just don't ask

Fantasy football is something that is more complex than calculus, which means men do not have the patience to explain.

4. Sundays are casual

Ladies-- make plans with your man/friend any other day of the week than today, because men are not leaving their couches or t.v.'s.

I hope you take this etiquette lesson and use it for next football Sunday! Trust me, you'll see how the number of fights decreases!
