If you are anything like me then you have a rather strong
admiration for makeup. I get a thrill out of new, full tubes of lip gloss and
fresh, untouched eyeshadow palettes. When I decide to put the energy into doing
my makeup, I tend to go full-out. As much as my soul craves the newest beauty trends,
there are certainly some challenges that come with my love. Here are 17 struggles makeup addicts know all too well.
1. Humidity/heat is bad news for your freshly painted face.
2. Your entire last paycheck probably went towards something you put on your face.
3. You have probably tried putting makeup on in your car and failed miserably.
4. As if picking the perfect foundation shade wasn't hard enough, you also have to change it according to the seasons and your tan.
5. Changing clothes without messing up your makeup is basically a game of operation.
6. Your hair gets stuck in your lip gloss and then you look crazy trying to pry it out.
7. After you leave a makeup store, your hands (and most likely arms) are covered in swatches.
8. You make ridiculous faces when you're in your makeup zone.
9. To pull off a perfect contour and popping highlight you literally have to have magical powers.
10. Sneezing after you do your eye makeup is just tragic.
11. Whenever you kiss someone, you leave your mark.
12. You can spend hours on the internet scrolling though pictures of makeup goals, pinning your new favorite trends, or even filming your own tutorials.
13. In addition to warm weather being a challenge, rainy weather can also really jack up your makeup.
14. Getting that razor sharp eyeliner wing takes some serious concentration.
15. When you finally get that flawless makeup look, you have to take a million pictures to document the astounding achievement.
16. Taking off your makeup at the end of the day is quite the task.
17. You look like an entirely different human being when you wear makeup compared to when you don't. But, that is OK because you can still be beautiful both ways.
