The day I got my puppy, I can honestly attest, was one of the happiest moments of my life. That little ball of fuzz immediately made my heart grow three sizes that day, with his goofy and loving personality. Before I was even able to get a dog, all of my friends can testify that I would eventually grow up to be a crazy dog mom, adopting any to all four legged friends who would gaze at me with their large, puppy dog eyes. Therefore, it came to no real astonishment that, when I adopted my fur child so to speak, I quickly became a crazy dog mom.

One may ask as to what qualifications one must have to be able to claim themselves as a "crazy dog parent"? Can it be as simple as spoiling your pet with a plethora of affection and treats? Or must you come somewhat an extremist by purchasing flamboyant outfits and driving your pooch around in a baby stroller? If you ask me, I believe there is no specific mold a person must fit into to categorize themselves as a crazy puppy parent. However, I do think there are 10 telltale signs that will make you reconsider whether or not you are, in fact, an extreme pet enthusiast.

1. Photos of your dog consume your social media

Whether it be Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, or simply all four, pictures and stories of your pup are plastered everywhere. Perhaps your loved one even has a page of his/her own that most likely has more followers and receives more likes on their pictures than you do.

2. You show off pictures of your pet(s) to others as if they were your children

Eighty percent of the pictures on your phone are of your dog and, quite frankly, they're too cute to not share.

3. You refer to yourself as "mommy" or "daddy" to your pup

This also goes along the lines of referring top your dog as your fur child.

4. In fact your pet is not a pet, but a member of your family

5. You're not ashamed to actually treat your fur baby as, well, a baby

You secretly know you baby talk, cuddle, and yes occasionally clothe your puppy.

6. Your dog has absolutely no conception of personal space

Your pup could weigh easily over 100 pounds and still think that its a lap dog.

7. Your pup knows he/she is spoiled and isn't scared to remind you of the fact

8. Time apart from your furry family member is practically intolerable

You feel as if a part of your soul is missing when you haven't seen him/her in over twenty four hours.

9. It's normal to ditch a night out with your friends to stay at home and hang out with your dog

I mean, why go out and party when you can stay at home with your fur baby and watch Netflix?

10. You can spend copious amounts of money on your pet without even blinking an eye

You can't buy the cheap store brand dog food, he needs his treats and snacks, and I'm not sure how he'll even be able to go on without having this chew toy!

11. The two of you share an inseparable bond that no man, woman, or other dog could ever dream of breaking

Dogs have the innate ability to steal a person's heart in a matter of seconds. With their floppy ears, dopey tails, and big alluring puppy dog eyes, it is hard to resist falling in love. If you feel that you can relate to one or more of these examples, you'll probably (if you haven't already) come to accept the fact that you are a crazy dog parent. But I promise it's okay if you are! All this means is that you unconditionally love your fur baby and are an amazing dog owner. So keep up the good work and don't forget to give your loved one that belly rub.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
