Let's be real here. We all hate. Don't lie. I can see you hating right now. Oh yes, when that giant bedazzled crystal ball dropped in New York City, you instantly knew - shit, it's the New Year and there is so much to hate. So, as you ring in the New Year, top off your glass and reminisce all there is to look forward to and fester over within the next 365 days.

1. When everyone runs around proclaiming “new year, new me”

2. Always writing the wrong date on your paper

3. Everyone and I mean everyone will be at the gym.

4. Healthy food is all the rage.

5. You can’t escape the bombard of exercise commercials on TV.

6. Those same ads will play before your favorite YouTube video.

7. You feel like you should be making 5,000 unattainable resolutions.

8. You are now reminded that you 100 percent did not obtain your resolutions from last year.

9. Christmas is over.

10. People will begin next year's Christmas countdown.

11. Stores are now adorned with bunnies and the store is shoving Easter sales down your throat.

12. Group projects will soon be piling up.

13. Your coffee addiction will return as soon as your New Year’s resolution crashes.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
