Coming to Theaters

Whether it’s romance, comedy, horror or thriller, we all love to sit down in front of a TV with an extra-large tub of popcorn and a Coca-Cola ready to laugh until we cry, or jump out of our seats scared. Even greater than one movie is multiple movies of the same series. Thankfully, there are so many talented movie producers in the world who are constantly creating prequels, sequels and brand new movies. In fact, there are so many great movies that are coming out in 2017! Here are some well-known movies that are coming to theaters next year!

1. Spider-man: Homecoming

For those of you who have never seen Spiderman before, I would highly recommend watching them before you see Spiderman: Homecoming. The original Spiderman movies are thrilling, yet also have a bit of a love story as well. Hopefully this movie will live up to the other movies’ standards. This movie will be in theaters July 7, 2017!

2. Beauty and the Beast

Disney movies have always been a huge part of my childhood, like many other people. So, knowing another version of Beauty and the Beast is coming out is beyond exciting for everyone. This movie, however, incorporates real people, unlike the original, animated movie. After watching the trailers, Emma Watson (Belle) does a fantastic job making this movie come to life. The release date is March 17, 2017, so go check it out!

3. Fifty Shades Darker

This dark and sexy romantic movie has viewers going crazy. We all remember the first movie, Fifty Shades of Grey, when Anastasia Steele unexpectedly meets a dreamy man, Christian Grey. However, this relationship wasn’t like most relationships. After watching and sympathizing with the two, we can now continue the long, emotional rollercoaster ride that Anastasia and Christian will continue in the second movie. It comes out February 14, 2017; don’t miss it!

4. Annabelle 2

If you like horror movies, then this is the movie for you! It goes along with the first Annabelle movie about a man who finds the perfect gift for his wife, a doll. However, after evil enters their home, all good goes to dust. Annabelle 2 is just as terrifying, so give it a watch in theaters on August 11, 2017.

5. Despicable Me 3

Remember constantly hearing about the little yellow minions who had their own kind of language? Well, they are back and ready! Despicable Me 3 comes to theaters June 30th when a child star plans to take over the world. Of course, the minions are involved too.

6. A Dog's Purpose

Do you like dogs? Do you like dogs that help others? Do you like emotional and cute movies? Then this is the movie for you. Through this movie, we are able to follow a dog through his/ her life who tries to make an impact in the lives of humans. Bring some tissues because I’m sure this one will bring you to tears. In theaters January 27, 2017!

7. Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Join Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow for yet another Pirates of the Caribbean movie! Prepare yourself for a lot of action, ghosts and terrifying captains. This comes to theaters May 26, 2017, so make sure you check out this amazing movie starring.

These seven movies are only some of the amazing ones coming to theaters in 2017! Make sure to check them out because I know they will be awesome!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
