The first week back after Christmas break can be a rough one, especially being a freshman. We all know it's difficult getting back into thing after being able to see family and take a break from homework, classes, and finals. However, it can also be a time where you finally get your life together or start your semester off partying.
1. When you start off your first days of classes happy knowing that your teachers will only be going over the syllabus. But, then you also happen to see the amount of time and effort you'll have to put in going to class, tests, quizzes, class participation, projects, essays, pop quizzes, outside help, etc.

2. And then there are those teachers who decide classwork and notes should start on the first day.

3. With the New Year also comes New Year's resolutions. So you decide to join an intermural or recreational sport that you've never done before and then realizing you made a big mistake.

4. And the one day you actually try, you seem almost unrecognizable.

5. Each day is a surprise ranging from the best day ever to being extremely stressful.

6. Coming back after having homemade meals makes college food a little unbearable.
7. But, overall you're excited for what the new semester will bring and are happy for being reunited with your friends.
