I used to be a bachelor nation hater, I would REFUSE to watch because I thought the whole thing was rigged beyond belief. I would judge girls who religiously watched this show for being extremely basic. I know people who would have watch parties with red and white wine; they would go the WHOLE nine yards. I was above it all, or so I thought. I stopped believing in the show when I was 18. I was sober from watching the bachelor for THREE YEARS...

BUT THEN I BECAME THAT GIRL WHO WATCHED IT RELIGIOUSLY.

Once you get sucked into "The Bachelor" franchise it is nearly impossible to get out, it's like the rabbit hole that Alice falls in and can't get out of.

I watched the last season of "The Bachelor" and I loved Becca, so I decided to watch "The Bachelorette." I was honestly pretty disappointed when Becca decided that Blake was not her man, BUT I was DEVASTED that she didn't choose Jason. He was cute, he was a good kisser, and he seemed like an EXCEPTIONAL guy. I was convinced either Jason or Blake would be the next bachelor.

Now, here is the tea I'm about to SPILL.

Colton, oh Colton. He seemed like a nice guy, honestly, he did. He was an ex-football player AND he had his own charity. But um... homeboy used to date Tia who just so happened to be one of Becca's closest friends from Arie's season. Becca originally kept him on because Tia claimed it was no big deal, and eventually Tia told her, toward the end of the season, that her feelings for Colton were still strong. This must have been super hard for Tia to admit because she had told Becca that she didn't want what they had to be a factor in their friendship. When Tia told Becca this, Becca decided to send Colton home, like any good friend would.

Fast forward to the Bachelor in Paradise... **SPOILERS AHEAD**

Tia was in Mexico, and she was clearly still hung up on Colton. She received the date card for the first date of the season and connected well with Chris, one of the guys from Becca's Season. Then, the Colton bomb exploded and he showed up at Paradise. She ended up going on a date with Colton when he came in but they decided it would be best if they moved on with each other. Okay, that was a fair point, clearly, they needed to move on from their relationship. Then, they decided after a weird love triangle that it was time to give their relationship a fair shot. Well, that didn't last long. Eventually, Colton decided that the relationship wasn't working for him and ended it with Tia, basically breaking her heart.

THE LITERAL NEXT DAY THIS GUY IS THE BACHELOR?????? EXCUSE ME?????

This is a guy who clearly does not know how to commit to someone and has NEVER had a long-term relationship. He is also a virgin, which I think is super weird considering how things are in this day and age. Jason and Blake were all in, they did not go to Bachelor in Paradise, and as far as we know they have been single since the end of "The Bachelorette." These guys should have been the new bachelor because clearly, they were the ones who were actually heartbroken when Becca didn't pick them.

Colton went from the Bachelorette to the Bachelor in Paradise and NOW HE IS THE BACHELOR???

Something really does not add up, I do not understand how they could pick someone who has failed multiple times to find love on "The Bachelor." It must be for fame or something because that is the only way that this could happen. He definitely does not know what he wants in a relationship or just in general. Why pick someone like that to be the next bachelor? I think next season will just be a repeat of Arie's season to a tee! I would be willing to bet that he has a bunch of unnecessary emotional breakdowns, then he will probably pick one girl and pull an Arie and pick the girl who was the runner-up on his season.

As an avid Bachelor viewer, I am EXTREMELY disappointed... AGAIN.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
