The Color Yellow

I have loved the color yellow since I was six, and oddly enough, my love for yellow is not what brought me to UWS- but it does make me appreciate my campus more thoroughly.

I love the color yellow. Most people really don't like the color because... well honestly, I don't know why people hate it. Sure it doesn't match with anything that well, and I can't wear it because it looks horrible on me, but there is so much more to yellow than meets the eye. (haha color puns, got to love them!)

Take pastel yellow for example. Now here is a color so confusing that you have to look at it to really appreciate its nature. What is its nature you ask? Well, I'll tell you. Pastel yellow is calm, it is nice and inviting, it almost reminds one of a childlike fancy. Pastel yellow is great.

What other types of yellow are there? Short answer: so many.

Look at all of the things you can do with yellow! Yellow is bright, happy, and reminds me of warm sunny days. Remember Friday? I think we could all use a bit of cheering up after that wind storm.

Also in case you were wondering, University of Superior Wisconsin has a color scheme of yellow and black. Because we are the yellowjackets. It's almost funny because I didn't intentionally come here because everything was yellow, I promise; but it might have had something to do with it. ;)


But just take a look at Buzz! His colors are so awesome! He is handsome and bright and colorful, and I think I'm rambling but you get my point. I just really love the color yellow.
