10 Inevitable Thoughts College Girls Have That Completely RUIN Their 'Sunday Funday'

Sunday mornings are rough. You could wake up at 8AM or 2PM and your mood would still be the same: that end of weekend depression.

Sunday mornings mean you can no longer put off that paper that's due at 11:59 that night-no matter how much (or little) sleep you got the night before- that you have to face all of your questionable decisions made over the weekend, and worst of all, that you have another full week ahead of you. Below, 10 thoughts that you have every Sunday morning:

1. How much longer can I stay in bed without it being classified as a hibernation?

Sunday mornings are pretty much a competition with yourself for how much sleep you can get and how long you can stay in bed without people questioning said competition.

2. I need food.

Pretty self-explanatory. Really, the more accurate question is: how can you get food without actually getting up.

3. On the topic of food: is it even worth it to get breakfast at this point? Or should I go straight for lunch?

Or maybe simply going directly to dinner is the move. This is a very serious dilemma.

4. Why is everyone so loud?

You would think your hall mates would respect the implied sanctity of Sunday mornings. But no, somehow, there are always crazy noises outside your door bright and early on these mornings.

5. Shower, ASAP

This might be something your roommate "kindly suggests" as you rise from the dead and fruitlessly attempt to tame the rat's nest that has become your hair overnight.

6. I should have done that paper last week.

Remember that one afternoon your class was canceled and you ended up watching Netflix for five straight hours? Yeah, that's probably when you should've worked on your paper.

7. Which sweatshirt do I wear today?

Is it even a Sunday if you don't wear a baggy sweatshirt and/or pair of sweatpants? Emphasis on "and."

8. What even happened last night?

This is the kind of question for which you do not necessarily want to know the answer. Proceed with caution when asking this.

9. Is it Friday yet?

Although the week has barely even started, (read: hasn't started at all) somehow, it already feels too long. The countdown to Friday has begun.

10. I'm dropping out of school.

Sundays tend to make you wonder how "worth it" the whole college education thing is. Maybe it's time to start exploring other potential career paths.

Sundays are an emotional time. That doesn't mean you can't get through them, though. All you have to do is grab a pint of your favorite Ben and Jerry's flavor, pull up Wikipedia, and get started on all that school work you've been neglecting all weekend. The best part is that this whole cycle will be repeating itself next week!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
