College is always better than high school-- and here are 7 reasons why!

1. You get to go to class in the morning, late evening, or at night.

Depending on what time your college offers classes, you can almost me sure you can find the class you need that will work around your schedule. Even if you have to take it online. My first semester in college I only had classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays and didn't work. I got 5 days off a week!

2. You get to live in a community with so many people the same age as you.

There is always something to do in your town. Some organization has something going on in near you almost every day of the week. Between parties, fundraisers, and drama club plays, you will always have something to do to keep you busy.

3. Unlimited amounts of cafeteria food

Warning now: the freshman 15 is real! Mountains of pizza, wings, ice cream, sushi, etc., there are enough varieties on campus to try!

4. Freedom!

Sweet freedom from having to answer to your parents or anyone else. Any time you want to come in from a long night of (legally) clubbing or sitting in the library until 1 a.m. doing that essay you've procrastinated all semester long to do, is fine because you take care of yourself.

5. You get to drive to class

On most college classes, you don't have to walk (too far) in the rain. Or you can take the bus from class to class

6. There are so many organizations on campus

Between religious affiliated clubs, sororities/ fraternities, or the drama club, you can find something that will help you explore your interest and help keep you occupied.

7. No dress code

Unlike high school, there are very few (legal) stipulations as to what you can wear. So go ahead and wear your leggings and be proud to represent freedom from clothing rules of the past!

Whatever you choose to do in college, just make sure of three things: make sure it is legal, make sure it betters you, and make sure it brings you happiness!

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
