College is interesting, and high school didn't prepare you for it at all. It's the four years in your life where it is socially acceptable to be broke, lost, confused and have daily breakdowns. Although we would all love to be at Hogwarts rather than at college, here is a list of ways we all relate at school, told through Harry Potter:
When your professor hands out a quiz that you and your friend forgot about.
When you have that one friend who has no idea what's going on in class (or maybe you're that friend).
When you walk into class and realize you forgot to do your homework.
When that weird creepy dude starts hitting on you at a party.
When you and your roommate are listening to music in the room.
When you check your bank account and/or grades.
When a random kid sits down at your library table with you and your friends.
That one student who always answers every question in class.
And you sit there like:
When your dorm neighbors are screaming down the hallway throwing a party in their room and you just wanna:
But instead you're like:
When you see someone cute looking at you in the dining hall and you're like:
When the professor asks who'd like to volunteer or answer a question.
Grabbing your friend who's about to start a fight at a party.
When your roommate wakes you up in the morning.
When someone asks you what your plans are for the night.
When you use about five meal swipes a day because you are always hungry.
When your exam is tomorrow and you just started studying.
When you get a snow day...
And the professor postpones the exam.
Your reaction every day when you're in math class.
Finding out your final is noncumulative.
When you dress like a hobo on your way to get food and you see someone you know on the way.
Seeing your friends when you come back from winter break.
When you find yourself having mental breakdowns every day.
When you're up at 3:30 in the morning and you question your sanity.
Dealing with that one friend who can't handle one drink.
