They also tell you that college will be the best experience of your life. Why will it be the best experience of your life? As a second year college student, I feel confident answering that question.
College is the best experience of your life and has already been mine so far because of everything. I am increasing my knowledge every day. It also challenges me more than I have ever been challenged. I was not the brightest person in high school, but I wasn’t challenged there. College is challenging and makes you work harder for your goals. Classes are challenging but rewarding and teachers are smart and more available. They always have set office hours for students to talk. College is the best time to meet those that will be your best friends. I joined a fraternity and now have almost 40 brothers. The friends you meet in college will be your friends for the rest of your life. College is also a great time to find interests. There are plenty of activities and clubs to join. These are great ways to find interests, hobbies and new friends. Another great thing about college is that it prepares me for adulthood. Living on campus is almost like living for yourself. You have to be prepared for everything. College is also a great place to gain leadership training. Clubs and activities need presidents and captains to guide the group. College is also filed with many opportunities, including traveling to another country. There are plenty of internship opportunities and on campus jobs. I was fortunate enough to have the chance to travel to Ireland for two weeks.
College is a great place to spend time. I have two more years of college and plan to enjoy every moment of it. There are so many opportunities waiting to be claimed. So when you graduate high school, try college out. If you are in college, find your own place there. Meet new people, gain experience, learn and have fun. College is great and more people should be experiencing it for themselves.
