College is one of the most amazing times of your life. Not only do you make friends you'll have for a life time but you also get to experience things like never before. Along with all of the wonderful times you'll have in college you also have some that are not so fun. Between writing countless papers, doing countless projects, and studying for many different exams your college work load gets crazy. Here are 11 different aspects of college as told by the movie 'Elf'
1. When you fail an exam you studied all night for
Nothing breaks the soul of a person more when they go into an exam believing they're going to ace it and then they end up failing it. Yet you have to smile through the pain and pretend everything is okay.
2. When you ace an exam you thought you failed
Along with the pain of failing an exam you thought you passed, there is also the joy of passing an exam you thought you failed.
3. When you wait until 11 to write a paper that is due at 11:59
Like many students I too have fallen short and let myself procrastinate until the very last second on assignment after I promised myself I would start on it the minute it was assigned.
4. When your friends don't share their food with you
Good food is hard to come by when you compare it to your mom's home cooking. So when your friends bring back food from their house and don't share with you it is very disappointing and sometimes makes you question their friendship.
5. When your mom sends you back to school with food
There is almost nothing better than when your mom sends you back to school with food that you can enjoy in your dorm room to make you feel like you're still at home.
6. When your roommate brings you food
Nothings compares to the feeling when your roommate buys you dinner without you having to ask. It completely fills you with joy because you didn't have to spend any money and someone was thinking about you.
7. When you don't know the answers and just bubble in
If you've ever been completely lost on a bubble in test you have more than likely bubbled in a pattern and hoped for the best.
8. When your roommate is crying and you want food
What do you do when your roommate is having a breakdown? Ask her to go with you to get food and hope it cheers her up.
9. When your professor tells you they can't raise your grade
There is nothing like grovelling last minute to your professors asking them to raise your grade from an F to an A and they tell you no.
10. Purposely walking out in front of cars
The idea of getting hit by car used to scare me until I got to college and had to think about student loans and ridiculous amounts of school work on top of my social life. Now I had turned it in to a game of how much money I can get from a person based on the car that hits me.
11. The feeling of making it through finals
There is nothing like the feeling of finally being done and running away from all of your problems.
