Every New Year we convince ourselves that we will stick with our resolutions. Sadly, most college kids know that resolutions will maybe last one month, tops. So, this year I decided not to make one.
Honestly though, props to ANYONE who can make these and keep them.
So here are some New Year resolutions that I and many other college kids have tried to stick to but ultimately failed…
- Going to the gym.
- Eating healthy.
- Branching out.
- Organizing.
- Trying something new.
We've all tried to enforce these goals… but when it comes down to it, can we really pull it off? As a college kid, I can personally say I have enough on my plate as it is. If you are one of the rare people that can balance school, social life, relationships, health, and add a new challenge to their lives… GO YOU. For me, I’ll pass and stick to what I do best—the basics. Not to hate on myself or anyone else like me, but I think a lot of college students realize what they can and can't balance, and are accepting of it.
So, if you made a resolution, KEEP IT. But if you didn’t, well, commit yourself to being as successful as possible in every area of your life!
