If you're in college, you know when April comes its a major struggle to finish the semester for so many reasons. From mean professors to the nice weather, everything just seems to be working against you doing well in your classes in April. The end of spring semester is so much tougher and if you don't realize it now you probably will when you get your final grades. These are just a few things that seem to make college in April so difficult for us college students.

Three exams, four quizzes, and three group projects

Professors like to save all of the tests, quizzes and projects for the end of the semester, making a college student's life similar to Hell in April. It feels almost like the work is never going to end.

You get practically no sleep

Due to all of the projects, tests and homework in April, sleep is not even an option some nights. Sometimes you just have to choose between getting an A in a class or sleeping that night.

Your professor decides the final is cumulative

Although they never said it before, the professor informs the class that the final is going to be cumulative, which means you are going to have to study for way longer than you had originally planned.

That professor that doesn't post grades finally does, and you realize you aren't doing as well as you thought.

This is the worst thing that could happen to a college student. Not knowing how you're doing in class is a really stressful thing for us. Besides, isn't it the professor's job to post our grades so we know how we are doing?

The weather is finally nice and you just want to stay outside

After a long, cold winter, it finally is starting to warm up making sitting in the library and studying all day almost impossible. Just looking outside the library windows makes you unmotivated.

April is a struggle for all college students, because the semester is coming to an end, and professors decide to put a lot of stress on students at this time. But don't worry, because the semester is almost over and summer is right around the corner.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
