College is a time of studying, partying, and tons of emotions. Sometimes it's a little hard to describe exactly what you're feeling or thinking, but here are 10 times "Grey's Anatomy" described just how college makes me feel!

1. That one lecture that went one in ear and out the other...


2. When your professor cracks a joke that's not funny, but you're trying to gain brownie points...


3. That one kid in lecture, who always has a story to tell, and interrupts the professor...


4. When you spent all of your time studying for an exam/writing a paper and you don't do well...


5. Those times you're missing home (family, friends, pets, etc.) a little extra...

6. How you feel when midterms and finals roll around and you have no time for anything but studying, studying, and more studying...


7. Then all that lack of sleep starts to get to you...

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines.
