College is quite the adventure. As much as some students may refuse to admit, Disney has been by our side so far, so why not let it hold us through the next four plus years? The following is a sequence of scenarios college students everywhere are all too familiar with.

1. At the beginning of the semester, you're so excited and energized.

2. You forget everyone's names whom you met during welcome week, but you still say hey.

3. Then you find that trying to stay awake in those early classes is a monstrous challenge.

4. Eating the dining hall food the first few weeks before you have gotten used to its distinct taste will likely have you considering cereal for dinner. Every night.

5. When the entire class feels unprepared for an exam, you'll realize you're in it together.

6. Checking your grade after that exam might scare you.

7. Seeing that it's snowing or raining out your window, but still having to make the trip to class is a disappointment every time.

8. Putting off laundry for two weeks is guaranteed to turn into wearing the same T-shirts for a few more days to put it off even longer.

9. When you and your friends are hyped up on caffeine, you will bond over the powers of coffee (or tea, if that's what you're into).

10. Seeing all of the core classes you need to take filling up before your registration time will have you scrambling for gen ed classes to fill your schedule with.

11. When that one kid who always feels the need to comment on every single topic raises his hand and the rest of the class cringes.

12. Always bringing snacks to lectures will help you survive those two hours of your professor's Power Points.

13. And finally feeling stress free at the end of the semester will make it all worth it, because you finally get a break! Best day ever!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
