Sorry I didn't catch that...

Did you ask how much coffee i've had today?

Well I'm not sure, to be honest, but it's probably too much.

I can't help myself nowadays; I'm always looking for a pot of steaming coffee or the nearest coffee shop to have my daily fix. We’ve all had that wonderful first encounter with caffeine and some of us just decided to make an all-consuming-relationship out of it. Sure, for those of us who are die hard coffee addicts, we’ll experience the occasional splitting headache. But, it is worth it after you get that cup you’ve been craving.

If you're reading this, you're probably an addict like me and many others so don't worry, you're not alone. If you're still in denial, keep reading and then let me know if you change your mind.

1. Waking up and NOT having coffee?

Yeah no, you need it.

It's really difficult to get up in the morning and not think about how badly I need coffee! Sometimes I'll think "no, no I don't need it!" But, then, I can't help but think about it until I've had it.

Even when I'm in a rush, I have to make time for it - even if it's a small sip (or more like a cup). If you're like me, coffee sometimes has no effect on your ability to wake up, but you still have it every morning because it just tastes so damn delicious.

2. No matter how hard you try, coffee will always be a staple in your life.

Whether it is in the morning or late night, coffee always sounds like a good idea. Honestly, I don't think there's ever a bad time for coffee.

Need something to wake you up? Coffee.

Need a pick me up during a long day/night? Coffee.

Need a nice warm drink after dinner? Coffee.

Do you see where I'm going with this?

3. You have no preference to how the coffee is made as long as you have it.

I'm not picky when it comes to coffee - I'll drink if it tastes good!

I'm the kind of person who will drink a steaming hot cup of coffee in the middle of the summer or a cold iced coffee in the middle of winter.

Basically, just give me coffee and I won't kill you.

4. You begin to realize coffee isn't always great for you so you try to cut back...

There will be some days where I try not to drink coffee because it'll be good for me in the long run - but, then, I realize what a joke that is! You without coffee? That's like a kid without candy.

5. Coffee is the first and final thing on your mind every day.

No matter how hard you try, the idea of getting your hands on a cup of coffee will always be the first thing you think of when you get out of bed and the last think you think of before you go to bed.

At the end of the day, you are you and if part of what makes you who you are is coffee, then screw the haters and embrace your caffeine addiction! Coffee over everything!!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
